Guest Services Representative – JLL

What this job involves: As a Guest Services Representative, you will be the face of our shopping centre, creating exceptional customer experiences that drive satisfaction and loyalty. This role involves managing all guest service functions, building strong retailer relationships, and ensuring seamless daily operations. You will contribute to JLL's business objectives by enhancing the shopping centre's reputation through outstanding service delivery and proactive customer engagement that supports tenant success and visitor retention.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of shopping centre services, amenities, stores, and promotional activities to provide accurate information to guests

Proactively engage with shoppers and retailers to create memorable interactions and deliver excellent customer service

Operate the Guest Services Desk, including selling gift cards and managing store financial programs

Provide directions, answer questions, and offer personalized store suggestions based on shopper needs and current merchandise knowledge

Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers while educating them about centre services and programs

Assist in developing and executing existing and new Guest Services programs and promotional events

Support Guest Services Representative training initiatives and participate in special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent education

Strong desire to provide excellent customer service with a positive, "can do" attitude

Ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups including shoppers, retailers, management, and service providers

Capability to work in fast-paced environments while multitasking and maintaining high professionalism

Excellent written, oral communication, and active listening skills

Conflict resolution and management abilities

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous customer service experience in retail or hospitality environment

Knowledge of shopping centre operations and retail industry practices

Experience with point-of-sale systems and financial transaction processing

Familiarity with crisis management procedures and emergency protocols

Event coordination or promotional marketing experience

Estimated compensation for this position:

18.00 – 18.85 CAD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.

On-site –Surrey, BC
