Guest Services Representative I
Location: Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center
Schedule: Thursday, Friday, & one additional day per week | 5:00AM – 5:30PM
(Prior night shift experience highly preferred)

As a Guest Services Representative, you set the tone for a positive, compassionate experience at our hospital’s key entry points during overnight hours. You’ll provide friendly, caring support to patients, families, and visitors—ensuring everyone feels safe, informed, and well-guided throughout their visit.

Responsibilities
+ Welcome and assist patients, families, and visitors with professionalism and empathy
+ Provide directions and communicate current hospital policies clearly and courteously
+ Monitor visitor control and maintain oversight of assigned areas to ensure safety and security
+ Respond quickly and effectively to guest concerns, providing immediate service recovery when needed
+ Perform clerical and administrative tasks to support hospital operations
+ Maintain a strong understanding of hospital services and facility resources to guide guests confidently
Qualifications
+ Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
+ Experience: One to two years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, preferred.
+ Licensure/Certification: Valid state drivers license at facilities where, preferred. Valet assistance may be needed.
+ Additional Skills (required): Presents self in a professional manner and possesses strong customer services skills. Ability to converse with people of diverse backgrounds and all levels of authority. Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to function independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must possess excellent organizational and time-management skills. Able to use de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe environment. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office and have proficient typing skills.
+ Additional Skills (preferred): Be a current notary public or be willing to become a notary, if needed.
