At Grand Hyatt Barcelona, one of the city’s newest luxury landmarks, we are looking for motivated, service‑oriented, and enthusiastic students to join our Guest Services – Groups Internship Program. If you are passionate about hospitality, guest experience, and coordinating seamless group stays in a luxury environment, this internship is a unique opportunity to grow within our Rooms Division.

The Guest Services (Groups) Trainee plays a key role in supporting group arrivals and departures, coordinating group reservations, and ensuring that every guest interaction reflects Hyatt’s standards of service excellence.

What You’ll DoAssist in coordinating group arrivals, departures, and room allocationsSupport the preparation and follow‑up of group rooming lists and special requestsCollaborate with Sales, Reservations, and Front Office teams to ensure smooth group operationsWelcome group guests and assist with check‑in/check‑out proceduresProvide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractionsRespond to group guest requests, inquiries, and concerns professionally and efficientlyHelp ensure group requirements are communicated clearly to all operational departments (Housekeeping, Concierge, FB, etc.)Assist with upselling rooms and hotel services according to Hyatt standardsSupport administrative and operational tasks related to group handling and guest servicesWho You AreStudent in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field
(able to sign an internship agreement)Fluent in English (mandatory) and Spanish; additional languages are a plusService‑oriented, proactive, and eager to learnStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsDetail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyComfortable working in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environmentFlexible schedule, including weekends and shiftsAvailable for a minimum of 5 monthsEligible for internships in Spain/EUWhat You Get€500 net/month stipendPersonalized training plan access to Hyatt learning platformsFree Headspace subscriptionStaff meals during shifts6 vacation days during the internshipReal experience in group coordination and guest services operationsExposure to luxury hospitality standards in an international environmentJoin a Team That Creates Memorable Group Experiences
