Recording and maintaining of logs and group data. Report, Investigate and resolve guest problems. Ordering and maintaining inventory of supplies for the department. Train and assist staff members when required and comply with all procedures and standards of the hotel. Maintain proper documentation of guest/staff incidents, accidents and quality audits. Greet and escort guests to rooms. Open doors and assist guests entering and leaving property. Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities. Identify and explain room features to guests (e.g., use of room key, mini-bar, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, valet laundry services). Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage. Supply guests with directions. Arrange transportation (e.g., taxi cab, shuttle bus, limousine/sedan service) for guests/visitors, and record advance transportation request as needed. Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors. The ideal candidate should have: • Previous hotel guest service experience in a Luxury hotel • Excellent verbal communication skills • Needs to be fluent in computer software’s like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, word and outlook • The candidate must be minimum 25 years of age and have valid driving license and be able to obtain a local drivers’ license within 7 days of his/her first day at work. In addition, the candidate has to be able to drive both manual and automatic cars. • If already in possession of a valid Cayman Islands driver’s license an excellent driving history record is required • Flexibility to work varied shifts and should be able to do overnight shift based on business needs • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
