Job Description:The Guest Services Agent provides a friendly, welcoming, and caring greeting to each person entering Essentia Health. The agent anticipates visitor needs by offering and giving assistance, answering questions, and escorting or securing an escort for patients and visitors when appropriate. The agent provides information and/or has knowledge of the Essentia campus and additional resources regarding our facilities.

The agent also provides valet services by safely operating and transporting vehicles belonging to patients and visitors on Essentia Health property and public streets. Prevents traffic congestion by directing traffic in front of the medical center.

Education Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operates and parks patient and visitor vehicles in designated parking areasProvides general information and directions to employees, patients, and visitors at Essentia facilities and parking areasSecures wheelchairs for patients and visitorsAssists people coming into the facility and may direct and escort patientsReports emergencies and requests respondersEnters patient/visitor information into tracking database for valet servicesActs as a source of information for staff, patients, and visitorsEmergency assistance for security teamAnswers and responds to internal and external calls

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Microsoft Office programsExperience in an information/hospitality desk or customer service environmentAbility to stay calm under pressure

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 6 months of hireMust have valid driver's license and meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health’s insurer
