A Guest Service Agent F&B ( Waitron) is responsible for serving guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while having extensive knowledge of menu offerings.
What will I be doing?
As a Guest Service Agent F&B (Waitron), you are responsible for serving guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Waiter/ess will also be required to have extensive knowledge of menu offerings. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\n\nExecute duties as assigned by the F&B\nService Leadership Team or General Manager
Be a reliable member of the F&B Service\nTeam and a collaborative colleague whose passion for hosting can be observed\nevery day.
Organise the ‘work area’ to be able to\ndeliver the pre-service and service tasks effectively & efficiently, to the\nrequired standard, and in line with our quality and service standards
Constantly maintain work station cleanliness\nand tidiness
Actively ask for feedback and look for areas\nof improvement while taking orders and delivering food to guests
Understand the specifications of the dishes\nwe sell, their price, and the processes designed to present them to our\ncustomer
Actively upsell our products and provide\nadvice to guests on food recommendations and beverage pairing
Be aware of planned team meetings and\nlearning sessions and attend as required
Communicate clearly and constructively\nbetween F&B service colleagues and culinary team to help deliver great\nguest experiences in our F&B outlets
Participate positively in pre and post\nservice briefs and apply learning to future service
Provide constructive suggestions to the management\nteam on product, menu or processes
Be a role model for others in regards to\npassionate, friendly guest service in line with HGI brand values and behaviours
