Job Description

Join the team at Oaks Port Douglas Resort, where we create memorable holiday experiences in one of Australia’s most stunning tropical destinations. We are currently seeking a friendly and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join us on a casual basis.

About the role:
As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the welcoming face of the resort, ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless and positive experience from check-in to check-out. Your responsibilities will include:

Greeting guests with warmth and professionalismManaging guest check-ins and check-outs efficientlyAnswering enquiries in person, by phone, and via emailAssisting with reservations and paymentsProviding local knowledge and recommendations to enhance guest staysHandling guest feedback and resolving issues in a timely manner

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who:

Has previous front office or customer service experience (hotel/resort preferred)Has strong communication and interpersonal skillsIs confident using computer systems and able to learn new softwarePresents professionally and has a positive, can-do attitudeIs available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
