AFO on Fort Carson is looking for a Guard I to join our team of outstanding professionals. Apply today. Responsibilities Annotates all vehicles entering the facility on the appropriate form. Ensures the use of ground guides for all vehicles larger than a HUMVEE. Answers and provides directions to customers / visitors entering the facility. Maintains cleanliness in and around the immediate entry control point. Monitors suspicious activity and safety issues, reports them to his / her immediate supervisor. Performs other assigned duties. Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent. Must possess and continuously maintain a current State of Colorado Driver’s License prior to starting or by 30 days after employment. Material & Equipment Directly Used: Clip Board and other material to track and annotate information. Physical Demands & Working Environment: Work is primarily indoors and may involve potential exposure to extreme climate conditions entering and exiting the entry control point. Work may consist of prolong sitting, standing and working in areas where vehicles are entering and exiting the facility. Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required during extreme weather conditions. Such PPE includes but is not limited to Eye, hearing, hand feet protective devices.
