As GTC Senior Tax Analyst North LATAM, you will be responsible for:
Preparing indirect taxes for legal entities established in Colombia (VAT, WHT, ToT, among others).Preparing corporate tax returns (F110).Preparing Form 2516 - Fiscal Reconciliation Report.Calculating and rolling forward deferred tax.Supporting the statutory audit (Big Four), on the preparation of the financial statement known as the tax note, for direct and indirect matters.Supporting tax asset monetization initiatives for indirect and direct taxes.Supporting the company in drafting/preparing objection letters and letters of response to the Tax Admin for those Notice of Assessments or Demand Notices.Preparing the MMR (Magnetic Media Reports), Informative return.Preparing the informative return for overseas transactions, known as Magnetic Media Exchange (outflows).Guaranteeing that tax position (tax return) matches the tax balance sheet (GL).Managing multiple functional currencies and the conversion for tax and statutory purposes.Supporting tax trackers and KPIs are updated to ascertain completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.Liaising and working collaboratively with broader tax organizations and finance organizations.Supporting and proactively seek process improvement and automationSupporting all other ad hoc projects as and when they arise.Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Bachelor’s degree in accountingCPA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent professional qualification in taxation.Minimum 5 yrs experience in Colombia compliance; (GBS, In-house multinational or Big 4)Spanish and EnglishExperience with Oracle and/or SAP are a mustExperience with Oracle, SAP, OneSource and Blackline will be considered a plus.Desired Characteristics
