Group/Division

The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.Responsible for providing technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical/optical equipment, computer systems and/or complex software.Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires an evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.Will be involved in product installation and training.Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering.In addition to travelling to different customer sites to provide support on-site within your own region, you would also travel oversea to support customers worldwide per biz needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree or work experience of 2 years , Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 3 years.Expertise on optics, laser, mechanics, robotization, metrology (CD, FILM measurement), semiconductor manufacturing, equipment install and technical support, application support.Good English communication.Familiar with Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Powerpoint.
