ADP is hiring a Lead QA Engineer. In this role, youll build, guide a team of QA engineers to build test automation framework using Cypress/Selenium/Playwright and be responsible for the overall QA. In this role, you will work with the development team, Product Team to gather details on features we want to develop and use that information to drive the team build and execute product testing to determine customer usability, performance and quality before deployment. In this role, you will monitor, mentor, coach and train the QA team in building test suites using Cypress/Selenium for web applications. Your role requires you to advocate necessary changes to maintain quality, performance and improve the end-user experience. To thrive in this role, you'll need to be curious persistent, and at times persuasive. Responsibilities Manage & Lead a team of QA Engineers. Motivate the team and make sure the team is clear on the priorities and have the required resources for successful execution. Responsible for the overall QA delivery. Drive the QA execution and delivery by collaborating with the required stakeholders. Segregating the test cases across - Sanity / Functional / Smoke / Regression Manage test data across different systems i.e., Application databases & Salesforce etc. Represent QA team across all the business-related discussions Write maintain test plans, test scenarios and test cases based on specifications and requirements for technically complex applications Execute manual and automated tests and identify, communicate, and document discrepancies encountered during the testing process. Enter, review and update software defects in defect tracking database. Create, execute and maintain automated test scripts using test automation framework Pursue automation in all testing cycles, avoiding manual rework as much as possible. Work with the release coordination team in deploying application code to different environments. Help the support team triage bugs and troubleshoot issues as soon as they are identified, ##LI-DNI

Skills Required 7-10 years of overall experience and 2-4 years of Experience in managing the Quality Assurance teams. Experience in hiring, mentoring, coaching and leading team of highly talented QA engineers. Experience in QA best practices including test designs and Automation. Handle Ambiguity and work with minimal specifications. Must be able to drive work independently and with minimum supervision. Must Have strong experience working in an Agile development environment Deep experience with different types of testing including - Sanity / Functional / Smoke / Regression Must have Knowledge in Playwright or Selenium. Hands on experience with Selenium Web driver test automation tool Experience with Atlassian Jira is a plus Experience in writing Automation Framework with Typescript a big plus. Experience with API Testing - SOAP UI or Postman In-depth knowledge of testing Web-based applications. Familiarity with SDLC, quality standards and test methodologies Experience using Gherkin for writing test cases and understanding of use of Cucumber preferred
