This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Flint Assembly on a full-time basis. **What You'll Do (Responsibilities):** + Ability to understand and assess complex supply chain issues and lead teams in a cross-functional environment to successfully resolve issues minimizing impacts to vehicle production. This position will support a combination of 2nd and 3rd shift. + Execute deliverables in support of the supply chain organization's business objectives. + Communicate to all levels of organization, within supply chain, as well as other functions within the plant, and externally with 3rd party partners, suppliers, and carriers. + Oversee Ryder team on off-shifts for managing inbound material – supplier shortages, carrier issues, premium transportation approvals - escalation of exceptions as required. + Assess supplier schedules and impact on vehicle assembly production + Collaborate cross functionally to develop creative solutions + Support Command Center calls for supplier shortages. + Analyze metrics supporting supplier critical issues or sufficiency plan resolution. + Perform various Material Flow Coordinator (MFC) roles – inventory and data integrity, problem solving/ investigation. + Oversee 3rd party/ VAA activities on off-shifts + Oversee Engineering change/ breakpoint planning/ execution on off-shifts. **Required Qualifications:** + Ability to summarize critical issues with resolutions and communicate to leadership. + Basic knowledge of Global Enterprise Production Information Control System (GEPICS) to run reports, hold or set-out/ set-in jobs, adjust breakpoints, update broadcast codes. + Strong Knowledge of Material Global Optimization (MGO) – inventory and scheduling screens. + Knowledge of other supply chain systems – Production Pull System (PPS), Electronic Pull System (EPS), Visual & Buffer Inventory Management System (VBIMS). + Ability to be flexible and at times work extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution. + This position will work on, and support the off shifts.Supporting a portion of 2nd and 3rd shift. **About GM** Our vision is a world with Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion and we embrace the responsibility to lead the change that will make our world better, safer and more equitable for all. **Why Join Us** We believe we all must make a choice every day – individually and collectively – to drive meaningful change through our words, our deeds and our culture.
