The Global Services Finance organization provides best-in-class, cost-effective financial services, and compliance—in a J&J way—to our Operating Companies around the world. The CFIN ATR Platform SME process area is a team of dedicated finance experts structured in a Global Process based organization, managing processes in a compliant and efficient way through standardization and automation. The CFIN SME’s goal is to deliver results through close connection to our corporate and business finance partners while demonstrating a deep understanding at J&J. Following the successful set-up of the new hub in Bangalore, this position will be in Bangalore working in the CFIN Platform team.
This role will be part of the Global Services Finance team reporting into the overall **GS CFIN ATR Team** for EMEA region.
As **CFIN ATR Platform Team SME,** you will have the opportunity to join the Global Platform Team. SME will be working across GS operational process teams, LTI, FSDM & GPOs together with GS ATR Regional Platform teams, to ensure Completeness, accuracy and validity. This will include interaction with our LTI partners from Data Quality, coordinating root cause error resolution, and discussing sustainable solutions. CFIN ATR SME will manage processes such as manual journal entries preparation and posting. Identification of replication issues, preparation of reconciliation package and communication/coordination with various Stakeholders such as Global Services team, FSDM, Data Integrity Teams etc.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1.) Be compliant with applicable laws and regulations and follow guidelines in the J&J Credo by maintaining Operational Excellence
2.) Deep expertise and knowledge of the Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas. Identify compliance risks and recommend solutions to remediate / prevent breach.
+ Act as the CFIN SME for EMEA region liaising with business stakeholders.
+ Responsible for ensuring completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals data reported into ERP systems.
+ Supporting data replication issues, by solving errors and providing resolution process for the same.
+ Preparation and posting of manual journals in SAP CFIN(S4HANA). Supporting for review of sustainability solutions for recurring issues.
+ Prepare the reconciliation package for Sales and Trial Balance accounts monthly as indicated in associated SOX controls.
+ Leading the end-to-end process of data replication within the CFIN platform, ensuring that data is transferred accurately and completely across systems.
+ Implementing and monitoring controls to prevent data errors; promptly identify and resolve issues to maintain zero data discrepancies.
+ Setting up real-time monitoring dashboards and generating reports to proactively track data replication health and issues.
+ Work closely with finance, IT, and data teams to understand data flows, business rules, and to ensure the alignment of data integrity standards. Along with stakeholder management.
**3.) Be a Trusted Business Partner**
+ Work with various SMEs, stakeholders and governance teams on the process and on operational matters.
+ Cross sector, cross region, and cross process alignments, and ensuring good documentation is maintained and consistency of a global approach.
+ If assigned a role of Operational Key Contact (OKC) then candidates will be the key liaison point within their Process for a defined Region & Sector with BUF and CFMs, answering queries, coordinating with SMEs/analysts on process and operational matters, resolving issues and updating partners on close status.
+ Execute global Strategy & Solutions in line with taxonomy.
+ If assigned a role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) then candidates will be responsible to ensure cross sector, cross region, and cross process alignment, ensuring good documentation is maintained and consistency of a global approach.
**4.) Create Game-Changing Innovation**
+ Generate ideas, foster, and implement continuous improvement, identifying and pursuing process efficiency opportunities.
+ Manage process improvements, generating ideas and implementing in line with global standards.
**Qualifications: Education**
+ A bachelor’s level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting, finance, or related business subject area.
+ CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications are preferred.
**Required**
+ At least 3-5 years of professional experience is required.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
+ Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies.
+ Strong Analytical Skills.

**Preferred**
+ Experience with Central Finance (CFIN)/SAP
+ Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation.
+ Experience in a Global Account to Report function of a large multi-state company.
+ Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach.
+ Successfully manage multiple priorities, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines.
+ Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge.
+ Digital/ intelligent automation capabilities.
**Additional Details**
+ Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
+ Candidates may be asked to work shifts to align with global assignments in Americas / EMEA / Asia as per the global nature of the platform.
+ Lead/Participate in other Regional/Global/Cross functional duties as assigned.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, other language skills desirable.
