**What will you be doing?**
As Groups & Reservations Executive, you will oversee the Reservations Team to maximise revenue and guest satisfaction and work with the Reservations Team & Commercial Director to develop future and repeat business\. Specifically, you will be responsible for:
+ Assist in the day\-to\-day operations of the Reservations Department
+ Manage telephone and email enquiries in a prompt and professional manner ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
+ Understand seasonal and historical trends and work within them to ensure maximum occupancy and average room rates
+ Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximise revenue with a focus on Groups
+ Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business
+ Ensure Team Members are developed effectively, and generate a culture of high quality standards for relationship building and customer service,
**What are we looking for?**
+ Previous experience in the Reservations/Sales function within the hotel/leisure sector preferably in a Supervisor or Team Leader role
+ Having a qualification in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or another similar field is advantageous
+ Strong influencing and communication skills and an ability to handle a variety of clients
+ A passion for guest service and hotels
+ Ability to apply good judgement & work to strict deadlines
+ Excellent organisational, planning and administrative skills including knowledge of inventory management
+ Proven sales skills and ability to develop relationships
+ Calm, efficient, and organized with great attention to detail
+ A highly professional, confident telephone manner
+ Ability to multi\-task while maintaining a positive attitude when working with a Guest
+ Computer literate and able to navigate through Company systems
