Duties and responsibilities related to the Groups Events Executive Planner role

Manage group and event bookings from enquiry through to delivery, ensuring every detail is handled with care, accuracy and professionalism.

Work closely with clients to plan memorable meetings, conferences, social events and group stays, delivering a seamless and personalised service throughout.

Prepare detailed event function sheets and coordinate requirements across all departments to ensure each event runs smoothly from start to finish.

Build strong client relationships, responding promptly to enquiries and amendments while consistently aiming to exceed expectations.

Partner with Sales, Food Beverage, Front Office and Operations teams to bring events to life, maximise revenue opportunities and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Support the smooth planning and execution of all pre event arrangements, ensuring timelines, room setups and operational details are fully aligned.

Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience, strengthen client satisfaction and support repeat business.

About you

You have previous experience in hotel events, conference planning, group reservations or a similar hospitality role within the premium hotel sector. You are highly organised with excellent communication and relationship building skills, and you are confident managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. A proactive approach, strong attention to detail and experience using hotel systems are advantageous.
