What will I be doing?
 

As an intern in the GM&E department, you will support sales strategies to maximize lead conversion and revenue, fostering a culture of high-quality standards and proactive selling. Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:\na {\n text-decoration: none;\n color: #464feb;\n}\ntr th, tr td {\n border: 1px solid #e6e6e6;\n}\ntr th {\n background-color: #f5f5f5;\n}\nMaximize revenue opportunities for conferences and banquetsAssist in reviewing commercial plans and ensure proactive measures to meet established objectivesIdentify opportunities to increase sales and conversionsContribute to the hotel’s sales strategyUnderstand the market and implement approaches to keep the hotel at the forefront of the local marketManage an event calendar to maximize performanceDevelop strong relationships with clients to fully understand their needsOrganize and support hotel inspection visitsEnsure complete administration and execution of planned eventsParticipate in hotel promotional activitiesMinimum 6 months internship

A Groups, Meetings & Events Trainee  serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

Graduate or MBA in Management, Hospitality and MarketingPrevious sales groups and events, preferably in HospitalityAbility to analyze and manage multiple tasksAbility to solve problems quickly and efficientlySense of organization and planningGood computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint and WordProactive approach to meet deadlines and objectivesMinimum 6 months internship
