Groups, Meetings & Events Sales Coordinator

Hilton Stockholm Slussen is recruiting a Groups, Meetings & Events (GM&E) Sales Coordinator to join our team. You will become part of a global organization with more than 9,000 hotels in over 100 countries — offering exceptional opportunities for growth and international career development.

Our hotel, overlooking the beautiful Old Town, features 289 guest rooms, spacious meeting and event facilities, and a vibrant bar and restaurant.

 

About the role

As a GM&E Sales Coordinator, you will maximize revenue opportunities within group reservations, conferences, and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversion. You will interact frequently with guests and customers, aiming to secure repeat business and deliver seamless event planning.

·         Manage group bookings, events, and the overall event schedule.

·         Identify and act on upselling opportunities.

·         Build strong customer relationships to fully understand their needs.

·         Deliver a consistently high level of customer service.

·         Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

·         Manage the complete administration and execution of all planned events.

·         Participate in hotel promotional activities.

·         Handle invoices, payments, and commission processes with accuracy.

Qualifications – What we are looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who wants to join our fun, energetic team and contribute to our commercial success.

Work experience

·         Minimum 1+ years of experience within a GM&E booking department or a similar booking/sales role.

Education

·         A university or post-secondary degree in hotel management, sales & marketing, or a comparable field.

Other requirements

·         Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

·         Strong ability to structure, prioritize, communicate, and follow up — combined with high integrity.

·         A natural relationship‑builder with the ability to represent the hotel and Hilton brand.

·         A commitment to working in line with Hilton’s values at all times.

Full-time position

6‑month probation period

Working hours: Monday–Friday

Covered by the VISITA–Unionen collective agreement
