About the role
\nThe Groups Meetings & Events Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales activity in order to maximise rooms, groups, conference and events revenue through pro-active selling and conversion of customer enquiries into confirmed sales.

What will I be doing?
\n\n\nThe management of the team on a daily basis
\n\n\nUp skilling of Conferencing & Events team
\n\n\nManage the relationship and business processes between C&E Sales & C&E Operations
\n\n\nManage departmental productivity
\n\n\nRecruitment, training and development of the team
\n\n\nRegularly review and manage individual and team performance against objectives and provide feedback
\n\n\nProvide relevant coaching to the team
\n\n\nDeveloping and implementing individual team members and both department training plans to meet business needs
\n\nWhat are we looking for?

\n\nMinimum of 1 year experience in a similar role\n\nExperience of managing a team
\n\n\nAbility to motivate a team
\n\n\nAbility to develop team
\n\n\nAble to collect and analyse relevant information and provide solutions.
\n\n\nPrevious Conferencing & Events Sales experience
\n\n\nDemonstrated attention to detail, while multi-tasking and delivering work on time
\n\n\nAbility to work productively despite multiple interruptions
