participate in their own care and recoveryJob SummaryGroup Therapist provides inpatient functional assessments to patients across the lifespan range and facilitates individual and group clinical programming utilizing an evidenced based practice framework in collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment teamConducts a functional assessment in relation to the patientrsquos reason for admission to support making recommendations of group topics general safety milieu engagement and transition planningFollows treatmentsplans organizes and implements individual and group treatment activities using a variety of best practice creative therapy techniques and interventions in alignments with the multidisciplinary treatment team planProvides enhanced individual support on to patients identified by the clinical team under the guidance of the department supervisor facilitates creative group therapy sessionsMaintains timely patient centered documentation that reflects the patient and client systemsrsquo pertinent information for assessment interventions and outcomes in accordance with regulatory licensing requirements and third party agenciesComplete psychoeducational and recreational groupsCollaborates with the interdisciplinary team to determine the appropriate creative therapy services for individual patients art music group etcAssists licensed Group Therapists and department supervisor for ongoing development of clinical skills and guidance in approaching treatment methodology with intention of achieving full independent clinical licensureWork whereevery
