**What you'll be doing**
The Group Product Manager, RESL Pricing & Revenue Optimization is responsible for supporting and executing the development of CIBC brand RESL Pricing and Fee strategies to maximize client profitability and remain competitive in the marketplace. They manage & monitor key business metrics (e.g. balances, sales and retention Volume, pricing behaviours, margins) to exceed industry growth. The Group Product Manager will lead all Pricing and Revenue enhancement initiatives including establishing objectives, providing analytical support and continuing to evolve the existing processes and systems to optimize the revenue from RESL products.
The Group Product Manager will help define the 1 year Pricing & Revenue strategic plan necessary to ensure profitable client growth such that the life time value of the relationships are maximized; while revenue and profit targets for the current fiscal year are met and exceeded. They will regularly collaborate with our Analytics team to translate business insights and analytics into action. The Group Product Manager will also be responsible for enhancing processes for a high performing, highly productive group of Pricing Analysts in successful program delivery; while contributing to their professional development and growth (dynamic culture; positive growth; winning team).

**How you'll succeed**
+ **Product strategy & lifecycle management -** Contribute to the development and implementation of the RESL fiscal and multi-year strategic plan in line with retail products goals. Lead the development and implementation of pricing and fee strategies across all RESL products and segments. Work with Finance, external parties, and channel partners to ensure that all pricing strategies maximize return on Net Interest Income. Lead the development and delivery of product and segment specific strategic pricing plans for driving Revenue and Profit over 1-2 year timeframes. Manage account management re-pricing and retention pricing and look for opportunities to grow in an innovative low-cost manner.
+ **Advanced analytical support -** Input application and business data into profitability and scenario models to assess product performance and pricing recommendations. Analyze complex financial, client, and operational data to identify patterns, trends, and key business drivers. Develop actionable insights and recommendations to inform product strategy, pricing decisions, and process improvements. Perform ongoing competitive research and benchmarking to ensure products remain market-leading and compliant with regulatory requirements. Prepare, review, and analyze management reports, investigating variances and providing value-added interpretation of results. Organize and reconcile data from multiple product, channel and client databases, prepare, review and analyze mortgage exception pricing reports on regular cadence. Monitor internal and competitive pricing trends and identify insights to support pricing decisions. Partner with analytics teams as a business lead in strategic and/or ad hoc analytics initiatives.
+ **Leadership -** Be an active participant in a team that assesses opportunities, develops business cases and implements initiatives aimed at increasing revenue through positive impact to all RESL related business metrics such as sales and retention rates – while also ensuring an optimal client experience. Support and implement Pricing and Fee programs to all relevant customers, across all Segments and act as point person for client escalations related to Pricing programs. Manage all Revenue Enhancement sales programs in order to maximize revenue while ensuring no negative customer impacts.
**Who you are**
+ **You can demonstrate experience** **in** business planning, business model development and pricing best-practices (5+ years). **It is an asset if** you also have in-depth knowledge of RESL products. You have strategic planning skills sufficient to establish and co-ordinate complex assignments and projects which can be ambiguous in nature.
+ **You have a degree/diploma in** Business, Finance, or a related field; formal analytics training and hands-on experience is an asset.
