We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Group Manager Latam Engineering to join our team, this pivotal leadership position is ideal for professionals with a robust technical background in cloud-native systems, microservices architecture, and API-first design. You will have the opportunity to lead geographically distributed teams and scale enterprise SaaS products in production environments, ensuring optimal platform performance and cost management.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ **Engineering Leadership** : Lead 5–6 software engineering teams across LATAM, ensuring clear goals, strong execution, and a culture of ownership, speed, and accountability.
+ **Platform Growth & Scale** : Oversee technical direction for key product lines, including our enterprise collections platform, while expanding engineering capabilities to support new products and regions.
+ **Stakeholder Alignment** : Partner closely with product management, global operations, IT, InfoSec, and client delivery teams to drive execution that meets business goals and client expectations.
+ **Client Support & Advocacy** : Represent engineering in strategic client discussions to build trust, provide technical guidance, and support solution delivery.
+ **Architectural Oversight** : Guide modernization efforts for cloud-based SaaS platforms, emphasizing reliability, scalability, cost control, and maintainability.
+ **Compliance & Governance** : Ensure systems meet global and regional compliance standards such as GDPR, LGPD, and HiTrust, with a focus on data privacy, security, and resilience.
+ **Talent Development** : Invest in building a strong engineering bench. Mentor team members, establish clear career pathways, and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
+ **Operational Excellence** : Establish and track engineering KPIs, drive service observability, reduce technical debt, and continuously improve platform quality and delivery velocity.
**Required Qualifications**
+ 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in engineering management roles, including experience leading geographically distributed teams.
+ Proven ability to scale enterprise SaaS products in production environments.
+ Strong technical background in cloud-native systems, microservices architecture, and API-first design.
+ Deep understanding of platform performance optimization, DevOps, cost management, and cloud infrastructure.
+ Experience navigating enterprise compliance frameworks such as GDPR, LGPD, and other data protection laws.
+ Fluency in Portuguese and English required; Spanish is a strong plus.
+ Strong client-facing communication skills, with experience supporting enterprise sales or delivery engagements.
