Group Maintenance Lead

This role oversees a team of skilled tradespeople, including mechanics and electricians, supporting machine maintenance and troubleshooting. The leader will manage maintenance breakdowns, assign tasks, and guide root cause analysis to improve repair efficiency and reduce downtime. A strong understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is essential.
Responsibilities include project planning, preventative maintenance (often over weekends), and document tracking. While union experience isnt required, the ability to work effectively in a union environment is important. The role involves occasional collaboration with project managers and peers across machining and assembly areas. Candidates should be organized, proactive, and capable of holding team members accountable while fostering a strong work ethic within the skilled trades team.
