Ardagh Metal Packaging is looking for Group IT - Engineer - Network Services 

The core responsibility for this role is to oversee the day-to-day running and to maintain the Wide Area Network and Local Area Network. He has to ensure that the technology deployed to Ardagh’s networks is in line with user expectations, stable and up to date. By contributing to group IT projects, he will also be the level 3 support for all IT in charge to support our users. The Group IT - Network services will have to closely work with the Group IT manager - Network services to look at ways to improve the network infrastructure. 

Key Responsibilites:

Ensure that all connectivities supported by Network Services and in his role are operationals. 

Monitor IT Networks and Solutions in his role, report and troubleshoot any problems as required.

Apply security updates and patches where and when required.

Create documentation, procedures and policies in relation to the areas of responsibility.

Establish a good working relationship with his peers and other business actors.

Talk to staff/clients through a series of actions, either face to face or by telephone.

Create Dashboards and Reports.

Requirements:

Good General IT level of education – Specialist IT skills essential. Good Knowledge on network technologies. Good Knowledge on Voice Over IP. 

2 to 3 years of experience in IT especially in networking technologies.

Good oral and written communication, in native language and English. 

Self-worker

Highly motivated

Flexible Pragmatic and analytical approach to problem solving.

Ability to manage own work schedule.  Good organisational skills
