As the Group Director of Walmart U.S. Omnichannel Communications, you elevate the story of how is delivering for customers and reshaping the future of retail, including how Walmart seamlessly integrates physical and digital retail, delivers unmatched assortment and value, and expands its role as a trusted partner in customers’ health and wellbeing. You will lead a world-class team responsible for shaping Walmart’s reputation across Merchandising, eCommerce, and Health & Wellness—three of the most influential engines driving the future of the business.

Serve as a Strategic Counselor to Senior Leaders Advise Walmart’s top decision-makers across Merchandising, eCommerce, and Health & Wellness.Craft forward-looking messaging, speeches, thought leadership, and external visibility strategies that set the tone for the industry. Drive Bold, Breakthrough Communications Strategies Lead integrated communications programs that include media relations, executive comms, crisis readiness, internal storytelling, and digital content.Align communications to the company’s commercial and brand priorities, seasonal moments, category strategies, and innovation roadmap. Shape Walmart’s Omnichannel Narrative Develop transformative narratives that connect product authority, digital innovation, health access, and customer experience into one cohesive story.Translate complex retail, tech, delivery, and wellness concepts into compelling storytelling that resonates with customers, media, suppliers, policymakers, and associates.Position Walmart as the partner of choice for third-party sellers and business customers. Own Media Relationships and Earned Storytelling Build and strengthen relationships with top-tier national, retail, consumer, health and other reporters, as well as new media.Drive proactive storytelling around category leadership, digital acceleration, marketplace growth, price leadership, customer trust, and health innovation. Collaborate Across the Enterprise for Impact Partner closely with Corporate Affairs, Investor Relations, Merchandising, eCommerce, Marketing, Health & Wellness, Store Operations, and other Global Comms teams.Ensure message alignment across the business. Lead with Precision in Issue & Crisis Management Provide steady, strategic guidance on issues and protect and strengthen Walmart’s reputation with confidence and speed. Manage Agencies and Budgets with Excellence Guide top external PR partners to deliver scalable, insight-driven, high-quality work.Hold teams accountable for innovation, efficiency, and measurable impact. Leverage Data & Technology to Drive Better Outcomes Use insights, media performance, customer trends, and competitive intelligence to inform strategies, evaluate impact, and refine messaging.Be a GenAI super user, championing GenAI and emerging tools to accelerate team performance and elevate storytelling quality. The annual salary range for this position is $160,000.00 - $320,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
