RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of groundskeeping staff.Plan, oversee, and assist the crews in efforts to plant, trim, spray, mow, weed, fertilize, sweep, rake, cultivate, dig, water, shovel or plow snow, remove ice, spread salt and/or sand.Inspect grounds regularly to identify areas needing attention or repairEnsure that various types of equipment are properly operated, and maintained including power mowers, saws, edger, and shears.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelinesOperate light or medium weight trucks to pick up and deliver materials and supplies.Operate tractors and attachments used to maintain grounds as needed.Load and unload furniture and other materials, transport to designated locations, utilizing a variety of equipment as needed.Manage inventory of supplies and equipment; order materials as neededEffectively utilize all resources available, delegate duties as needed and verify satisfactory completion of assigned tasks.Train staff in proper horticultural techniques and equipment useRespond to weather-related emergencies (e.g., snow removal, storm cleanup)Collaborate with facilities management and external contractors when necessaryMaintain records of maintenance schedules, inspections, and staff performanceEnsure that workorder, timekeeping, and daily report documentation are completed within accepted time-frames.All other tasks as assigned

Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
Able to operate golf carts and other motor vehicles
Understanding the importance of priority of work tasks
Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $17.85 - $21.00
