**Description:** The Grounds Attendant is responsible for maintaining the hotel’s outdoor areas and beachfront to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and aesthetics. This role ensures that gardens, lawns, pathways, poolside, and beach areas reflect the luxury and hospitality values of Park Hyatt St. Kitts, creating a welcoming environment for guests and colleagues. **Responsibilities** + Maintain hotel grounds including lawns, gardens, walkways, poolside, and outdoor facilities. + Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, watering, and fertilizing. + Ensure cleanliness and safety of beach areas by raking sand, removing debris, arranging loungers, and maintaining umbrellas and cabanas. + Monitor and maintain beachfront surroundings to ensure a pristine guest experience. + Operate and maintain groundskeeping and beach maintenance equipment safely and efficiently. + Assist with seasonal planting, pest control, and irrigation system upkeep. + Support special event setups in outdoor and beach spaces as required. + Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the Engineering or Facilities team. + Uphold Hyatt standards of safety, sustainability, and guest service in all tasks. **Qualifications:** **Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or beach maintenance preferred. + Ability to operate groundskeeping and beach maintenance tools and equipment. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety. + Physical ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions. + Team‑oriented with good communication skills. **Preferred Skills** + Experience in tropical landscaping or resort grounds/beach maintenance. + Knowledge of sustainable gardening and coastal care practices. + Basic understanding of irrigation systems, pest management, and beach erosion control. **Primary Location:** Caribbean Islands-Saint Kitts **Organization:** Park Hyatt St. Kitts **Pay Basis:** Hourly **Job Level:** Full-time **Job:** Engineering/Facility Maintenance **Req ID:** SAI002019 Hyatt is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
