Develop and implement crop-specific fertilizer and irrigation protocols to maximize breeding program potential.
Establish and manage a comprehensive program for monitoring crop nutrition through soil and tissue analysis. ... Conduct daily scouting for insect and disease pests, reporting findings to the Station Manager.

Oversee the greenhouse preparation process for each growing cycle, ensuring proper crop rotation, cleaning, sanitizing, irrigation setup, and pot placement.
Regularly check soil and media pH and EC.
Collect and ship plant tissue and media samples for external nutrient analysis.
Perform greenhouse cleanup and disposal of plants, containers, and media after project completion.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
Knowledge of routine greenhouse growing practices and irrigation requirements.
Ability to obtain a Florida pesticide application license within one year of employment.
Demonstrated computer skills in Word, Excel, and email programs.
