Job Summary:
This welcoming family is seeking a dedicated and friendly nanny to care for their 3-month-old baby girl. While they currently have a maternity nurse, they are now looking for a long-term, full-time nanny to join their home at the end of October. The mother is often at home and enjoys a shared-care approach, so they’re hoping to find someone who is collaborative and supportive. The family lives in a spacious, three-level home in London with five bedrooms and a private ensuite room available for the nanny to use during the five working days each week if needed. Although there is a housekeeper and a chef who assist regularly, the nanny will be responsible for baby-related laundry and preparing meals once the baby begins solids. There are currently no known allergies.
The parents are first-time parents and value open communication, flexibility, and a nurturing personality. They’re looking for someone with a calm approach who can adapt to the family’s needs—including the occasional sixth workday if there’s an event or special occasion. The ideal candidate is someone who will become a trusted part of the household—gentle, dependable, and easy to get along with. The family has a relaxed, respectful atmosphere and is eager to welcome someone who brings positive energy, warmth, and experience to their parenting journey.
General Duties:
General nanny tasks Undertaking all daily nanny duties Helping to hit the baby’s milestones All daily baby duties as well as following routine Nursery duties – keeping play areas/ bedroom tidy and organized as well as laundry Basic housekeeping in relation to the baby, tidying up after them and general laundry duties Create a steady routine for the baby Create a loving, nurturing atmosphere for the baby
Candidate Requirements:
Proficient in English Proactive, approachable, and engaging Experience within a similar role with Longevity in a role A nurturing, caring demeanour, and a friendly individual Must have experience working with similar age and able to support baby’s different milestones Good experience within a similar role with recent experience babies and toddlers Reliable and trustworthy. Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
