Job Summary:
This warm and generous family is looking for a dedicated, experienced, and friendly nanny to care for their 2-year-old child. The ideal candidate will have qualifications specific to early childhood development and experience working with children of a similar age. A key part of the role involves not only nurturing and teaching the child but also contributing to their early education in a structured, engaging manner. A flexible approach is essential, as occasional travel—especially during summer holidays or for short stays in hotels—will be part of the role.
The position is based in Manchester, with the family planning a move toward the Midlands. A driver’s license is preferred, and a car may be provided for the right candidate. The household includes a chef, so no cooking will be required. The mother is organized and communicates her expectations clearly, so someone who can respect structure and respond well to clear direction would be a great fit. In return, the family offers a respectful, welcoming environment and is known to be very generous with their staff.
General Duties:
Undertaking all daily nanny duties Helping to hit the child’s milestones All daily baby duties as well as following routine Keeping play areas/ bedroom tidy and organized as well as laundry Basic housekeeping in relation to the child, tidying up after them and general laundry duties Create a steady routine for the child Create a loving, nurturing atmosphere for the child
Candidate Requirements:
Experience within a similar role with longevity in a role A nurturing, caring demeanour, and a friendly individual Must have experience working with similar age and able to support Childs different milestones Good experience within a similar role with recent experience with toddlers Reliable and trustworthy. Willing and able to travel. Looking for a long-term position with a family
