Job Summary:
A wonderful family is seeking a kind, dedicated, and nurturing nanny to care for their adorable 6-month-old baby boy. This is a live-in role to start, with plans to secure a nearby apartment for the nanny, fully covered by the family. This is a sole-charge position, as both parents work full-time from home, and includes all nursery duties related to the baby. As this is their first child, the parents are looking for someone experienced who can gently guide and support them through early parenthood—someone who brings not only childcare expertise but also patience, warmth, and a collaborative spirit. They value a balanced approach to parenting: they don’t want their child to be spoiled, but also prefer a calm, positive, and non-abrasive style of discipline.
The family is currently based in Malta, with a second home in Bromley, London, and may either stay in Malta next year or relocate—potentially back to London or another destination—so flexibility and adaptability are key. The role includes occasional travel (approximately six trips per year), mostly within the UK and occasionally to other destinations. They are hoping to find someone who is looking for a long-term position and who will become a trusted and valued part of their family. General Duties:
Undertaking all daily nanny duties Helping to hit the child’s milestones All daily baby duties as well as following routine Nursery duties – keeping play areas/ bedroom tidy and organized as well as laundry Basic housekeeping in relation to the baby, tidying up after them and general laundry duties Create a steady routine for the baby Create a loving, nurturing atmosphere for the baby
Candidate Requirements:
Experience within a similar role with Longevity in a role A nurturing, caring demeanour, and a friendly individual Must have experience working with similar age and able to support baby’s different milestones Good experience within a similar role with recent experience babies and toddlers Reliable and trustworthy. Willing and able to travel. Looking for a long-term position with a family Needs to have an EU Passport
Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
