KBR is seeking a part-time, entry-level Graphic Specialist to support the design and construction of a NAVAIR Weapons Replaceable Assembly (WRA) test bench and its associated interface cables.
The selected candidate will assist in developing detailed drawings for test bench racks, drawers, and interface cables. These drawings will be used to: test and evaluate mission data files, assess aircraft maintenance procedures, conduct engineering investigations, and support WRA proficiency training.
This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with subject matter experts and systems engineers, while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and impactful technical environment.
 

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma, with at least 1 year of related experience.Experience working with military technical documents, delivery, and integrated logistics support (ARs, MIL STDs and MIL-PRFs, IETMs, TPDRs, DIDs, etc.) is recommended. Naval aviation maintenance experience is a plus.Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must have the ability to research, review, and understand technical information and develop procedural information for technical documentation.Must have the ability to translate written requests to visual illustrations through an iterative process, collaboration, relying on end user requirements, engineering data, and subject matter expert input.Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.
 

Preferred Skills:

Bachelor's degree, with 2+ years of related experience.Proficient in Microsoft office suite.Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint.Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.Familiarity with XML integrated graphics (hotspots, etc.)Experience with ASD S1000D process Data Modules.SDI Editor, VizEx Editor, IsoDraw, SolidWorks and/or Catia experience is a plus.Knowledge of Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) development procedures using S1000D, and DoD MIL-STDs; Document Type Definitions, and style sheets used to develop product deliverables for all classes of IETMs is a plus.

Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
