Job Summary

Designs and develops graphics and illustrations for use in technical materials, manuals, and publications.  Operates computer hardware and software to prepare, revise, print and store text, illustrations, graphs, charts, etc.  

May include operation of equipment, such as digital cameras, for the design and production of photos and videos.  

Formulates concept and renders illustration and detail from models, sketches, memory, written or verbal instructions, and imagination.  Selects type, draws lettering, lays out material, or performs related duties.  

Determines style, technique, and medium best suited to produce desired effects and conform to reproduction requirements or follows specific instructions regarding these variables.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design/Art, a related field or equivalent experience plus 2 to 4 years related graphic design/illustration experience.

Must have At least 2-4 years of experience using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and SolidWorks to create graphics and illustrations for technical manual development.

Candidates must be a citizen of the United States of America and be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and a Common Access Card (CAC).
