Graphic Designer - Intern

What are we looking for? 

A Graphic Designer intern serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow: 

·         A recent graduate of Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts or other similar programs from a reputable school or learning institution. Graduating students currently pursuing a degree or diploma in similar fields may be considered, pending review of their portfolio.

·         Proven graphic design, illustration skills (computer-aided and/or freehand), and able to provide a strong portfolio for critique. AI-generated work won’t be considered.

·         Skills in photography and video, both on DSLR and mobile, as well as video editing. Should be able to provide samples of past work.

·         Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects). Knowledge of Figma, Canva, Procreate and other design platforms is a plus.

·         Adept at designing and creating dynamic presentations on PowerPoint and other platforms.

·         A keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.

·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

·         Organized, methodical, and time-oriented.

·         Interest in luxury brands, hospitality, lifestyle, and design trends.

What will I be doing? 

As the Graphic Designer intern, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: 

        ·         Assist in designing marketing materials for both digital and print platforms, including social media assets, brochures, flyers, menus, newsletters, and event collateral.

·         Support the creation of visual content across all of the resort’s communications touchpoints, such as the microsite and brand.com platforms, digital and print campaigns, advertising, and on-site offline marketing.

·         Collaborate with the Marketing Communications team to ensure brand consistency across all channels.

·         Assist in photo and video production, shooting, editing, retouching, and preparing imagery for campaigns, media kits, and other marketing collateral.

·         Help maintain the resort’s brand asset library (logos, templates, fonts, photography, video, stills).

·         Provide logistical support during photo/video shoots (behind-the-scenes assistance, asset organization).

·         Support the Marketing and Content Executive in day-to-day tasks and ad-hoc creative projects.

·         Support the Marketing Communications team in the daily operations of the department, such as routing, coordination with different departments and stakeholders, assisting in the organization and handling of Marketing’s brand-related events and activations,

·         Research design trends and competitor campaigns to contribute fresh, creative ideas.
