What Creative Services contributes to Cardinal Health

Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.

Creative Services is responsible for the conception, design and production of creative projects and programs from intake through delivery. These projects support marketing communication goals for the business.

The Graphic Designer provides design services for the in-house creative team. The Designer is responsible for concepting, developing, and producing creative marketing collateral and digital content for internal marketing clients. The Designer must exhibit competent design skills in achieving the highest possible standards for all materials requiring design in assigned projects and tasks. This role must exhibit knowledge of clients’ business challenges to execute design requests as defined by the client.

Responsibilities

Designs creative campaign elements from start-to-finish, with a strong focus on developing content such as print and digital collateral including static and animated social media graphics, short video content and related elementsDevelops initial layouts, storyboards or mock-ups for creative reviewLeads concepting and execution of high-level creative projects as assignedProvides design and professional insights to Content Marketing and Brand teamsProduces and is accountable for the final development of creative assets and ensures accuracy, attention to detail and overall meets or exceeds the design objectives within brand standardsEffectively handles account management with clients and responds to all requests and communications in a timely and thorough mannerWorks to improve the team’s overall performance and embraces a collaborative approachSuccessfully completes strategic projects as assigned by SupervisorEngages in professional development to continuously grow in your profession and remain competitive with outside services

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience preferredBachelors degree or equivalent experience in related field preferredDemonstrates proficient expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. After Effects/Premier Pro, Acrobat, and Adobe certification a plus.Experience in executing creative concepts across platforms, including digital, social media and printHighly organized with a strong record of working independently, meeting deadlines and attention to detailStrong interpersonal skills and a record of collaboration and teamwork.
