Position SummaryThe Graphic Designer will create engaging, on-brand visual concepts that support the organization’s business objectives and property-level marketing efforts. In this position, the graphic designer will develop the overall layout and production design for a variety of applications for traditional and digital media.
Responsibilities Display a high level of graphic design expertise and proficiencyDaily responsibilities include the conception, development, and design of a variety of marketing collateral and digital design including, social media images/posts, flyers, brochures, e-mail templates, HTML templates, internal branded templates, internal presentations, website assets, signage and other materialsManaging a high volume of creative service requests, traffic status to ensure deadlines are consistently metOrganize files, photos, and all collateral produced or receivedAnalyze and plan the framework of design according to the laid-out concept and established specifications of the projectUtilize new techniques and processes to provide quality designsSuggest new ways of improving the quality of designs and other project issuesEnsure each community and company brand individuality, excitement, impact, and accuracy in all marketing materialsReview all creative materials before they are finalized to ensure quality control and brand standards are metMaintain primary contact with advertising vendors, signage vendors and local printers to streamline efficiencies and leverage pricingFacilitate monthly billing compilation and submission as neededBrainstorm and provide recommendations on new technology and design capabilities that allow our department to continually push boundaries and support offeringsOccasionally, present the creative direction and graphic design input to clients and internal teamsResponsible for translating a property and company’s marketing objectives into creative strategies and designsThe ideal candidate will also be utilized for alternative marketing support if ever needed during times of heavy workload, rolling out of any group initiatives, attending all meetings run by marketing, and vacations/leaves of absenceOccasional visits to site/market may be needed in times of lease ups and renovation marketing) Education and Experience Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceHighly detail oriented with excellent organizational, analytical and time management skillsProficient in HTMLMicrosoft Office Suite, Project Management, AdobeHighly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator and InDesignEdit & color-correct images in PhotoshopPrior experience working in a PC environment QualificationsPhysical Requirements:
