Kforce has a client in Petersburg, VA that is seeking a Grants Research Administrator. Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Grant Research Administrator to oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of research grants. This role supports over 20-25 Principal Investigators (PIs) and is responsible for ensuring financial compliance, budget monitoring, and effective grant lifecycle management across more than 200 active accounts. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, and ad hoc environment. Responsibilities: * Serve as the primary financial liaison for 20-25 Principal Investigators * Monitor grant budgets, expenditures, and compliance with institutional and sponsor guidelines * Assist PIs with budget revisions, no-cost extensions, and financial reporting * Maintain accurate records across 200+ grant accounts using a large-scale ERP system * Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate grant administration * Support the implementation and optimization of Cayuse grant software * Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed
