Hiring - Senior Grant Compliance Manager
The Compliance Oversight & Monitoring Specialist will play a key role in ensuring organizational adherence to federal regulations and grant requirements. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive compliance oversight program, with a focus on federal transportation regulations and grant compliance. The ideal candidate brings deep experience with FTA requirements, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead cross‑departmental collaboration in a fast‑paced
environment.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Oversight & Program Development
Establish and maintain a Compliance Oversight and Monitoring Program, including frameworks and methodologies for internal federal compliance review.Evaluate existing procedures to ensure alignment with federal requirements and conduct periodic spot checks to confirm adherence to internal policies and procedures.Collaborate with internal departments to identify compliance risks and develop a structured approach for prioritizing and ranking risks based on impact to the organization.Risk Evaluation & Reporting
Assess high‑priority risks for compliance with federal rules, regulations, and guidelines.Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, recommendations, and corrective actions for leadership review.Monitor the implementation of corrective actions to ensure ongoing compliance.Federal Audit & Correspondence Management
Track and manage all letters, audit requests, and reviews initiated by USDOT, FTA, or FRA.Lead the drafting of formal responses to federal agencies, providing strategic guidance to leadership throughout the process.Coordinate the collection and submission of supporting documentation from relevant departments, ensuring timely and accurate responses ahead of deadlines.Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.7–10 years of experience leading compliance oversight programs, including direct experience with FTA requirements and working as a grant recipient.Proven ability to develop and operationalize new programs in a fast‑paced environment.Strong analytical, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $128000.00 - $195000.00/yr.
