Description
This person will be joining the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences for a large research institution as a Financial Analyst supporting the department's discretionary funds spending. In this role they will be responsible for providing support to the department with financial reporting, modeling, variance analysis and supporting various ad hoc requests as needed. The role will be to primarily support ad hoc reporting requests for the department including data migration, data manipulation, reporting and journal entries.
Responsibilities:
Journal Entries for all expense types of journals.Report creation: data migration, manipulation, analysis and reporting for various requests on department funds and financials; Reports include: Historical spend reports, state funds reports, strategic funds and more. Reports are generated on a monthly and quarterly basis. Heavy excel report development, management, update from various internal system platforms, in support of discretionary spending projections and true up of monthly financial cost and revenue data.Modeling of financial structural change methods; actual cost data and future revenue projections.Processing of various financial transactional tools: funding and cost transfer, journals to allocate revenue, assign assessments, move revenue/expense; review and process reimbursements or purchase requests related to department spending.Skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.07/hr.
