SUMMARY
The State of Georgia’s HOME-ARP program, federally funded through the American Rescue Plan, provides critical resources for rental housing, non-congregate shelters, and supportive services for vulnerable populations. We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented professional to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for a "high performer" looking to launch a career in public administration or federal grant management by supporting the administration of supportive services across the state.
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
· Experience: 0–2 years of experience. We are looking for candidates with a strong interest in housing policy, social services, or grant administration. Internships or volunteer work with vulnerable populations (homelessness, at-risk youth, etc.) is highly valued.

+ High Learning Agility: Ability to quickly grasp complex federal regulations (HUD, HOME-ARP).
+ Communication: Excellent oral and written skills for collaborating with state partners.
+ Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel for tracking data).
+ Organization: A self-starter who can prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
+ Customer Service: A professional demeanor when assisting subgrantees and internal departments.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Financial Support: Perform initial reviews of agency invoice submissions for reimbursement and assist in routing them for swift payment.
+ Compliance Assistance: Support the audit process by organizing documentation and ensuring subgrantee files meet HOME-ARP regulations.
+ Technical Assistance: Serve as a point of contact for subgrantees, helping them navigate reimbursement forms and program requirements.
+ Program Documentation: Assist in updating program policies, procedures, manuals, and forms.
+ Reporting: Compile data for month-end reports and assist in preparing external survey requests.
+ Collaboration: Help coordinate resources among state agencies to facilitate housing placement for individuals and families.
+ Administrative Coordination: Manage internal communications to resolve inaccuracies and ensure project completion.
+ WORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL, HOURS, ENVIRONMENT)
+ This position is salaried non-exempt, knowing it may include hours that exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week.
+ Occasional travel required including air and car travel.
+ This position is an office position which can transition to a hybrid position. Employees must reside in Georgia and meet DCA telework requirements.
PHYSICAL / SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Work is principally stationary, but the person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc., and constantly operates a computer and other office equipment.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Must be able to perform office-related duties.
Must be able to operate office equipment.
Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, tenants, and community agencies and other entities that provide services.
Must be able to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must maintain punctuality and attendance as scheduled.
