This program is designed to give you hands-on experience in power generation as you will have the opportunity to work in a powerplant designed, built and operated in the highest standards in the industry. During this 12-month program as a graduate technician, you will
Gain theoretical knowledge in power generation, specifically for thermal, PV and hybrid power plants
Work with the project operations team in the powerplant in the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of powerplant equipment included but not limited to generators, transformers, switchboards, inverters etc.
Work some on a project in application engineering or continuous improvement enabling you to put all the knowledge you would have gained throughout the program in a project

At the end of the program, you would
Gain hands-on experience in the maintenance of powerplant equipments and be ready to take a technician role in any powerplant.
Gain theoretical knowledge in power generation, specifically for thermal, PV and hybrid powerplant
This position is based in Eritrea and exclusively for Eritrean nations. In Eritrea, Aggreko supplies power to the BMSC mining complex located in the Gash Barka region in Eritrea. We are a hybrid plant of 30MW installed capacity with 24MW thermal and 6MW PV.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
Atleast a bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical engineering preferred)
Some technical knowledge or experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, ideally in power generation
Passionate about mechanical or electrical engineering
Highly motivated with a positive attitude to work
Business level English
Good team-player
To comply with the national labour laws and applicable legislation in Eritrea, all graduates who will be selected to take part in this program will be required to present their national release document from military service.
