Job Description

As a Graduate Technical Purchaser, you will play a vital role in our technical purchasing projects, specifically focusing on hydraulic radial piston motor components. You will collaborate with experienced colleagues to drive initiatives that enhance our procurement processes providing essential support in administrative tasks.

Take ownership of technical purchasing projects, working closely with team members to ensure successful outcomesGenerate and monitor requests for quotations using our Pilum system.Engage in technical discussions with suppliers, preparing and conducting meetings while ensuring effective follow-up with the support of your colleagues.Assist in coordinating sampling processes with suppliers and technical departments, ensuring accurate maintenance of our IQS central systemsPrepare sourcing decisions within a global procurement landscapeProvide administrative support to the team, ensuring smooth operationsAct as a liaison between project buyers, business units, and suppliers, representing the purchasing department in the Product Development Process (PEP) and identifying opportunities for cost reductions

QualificationsIndustrial Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering or similarHas the ability to build effective and strong relationships with cross-functional colleagues, customers and suppliersIs proactive, tenacious, results drivenExcellent communication skills, high level of self-motivation and commitmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsComputer literate, with sound knowledge of Microsoft packages especially excel
