The HR Graduate will support both the operational and strategic activities of the Human Resources function. The role combines administrative HR support with involvement in people initiatives and continuous improvement activity that supports efficient, effective, and compliant HR service delivery.
Job DescriptionOperational & Administrative Support
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR teamMaintain accurate employee records, HR systems, and personnel files in line with data protection requirementsSupport absence management processes, including recording absences, monitoring trends, and preparing reportsDraft HR correspondence and documentation, including contracts, offer letters, absence letters, and standard employee communicationsRespond to routine HR queries from employees and managers, escalating complex issues as appropriateSupport onboarding and induction processes to ensure a positive employee experienceSupport performance management, talent development, and succession planning processesStrategic, Reporting & Process Improvement Support
Support the delivery of HR initiatives aligned with business and people strategyAssist in preparing HR data, reports, and insights to support workforce planning and decision-makingContribute to employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and action planningSupport the development, review, and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and guidanceIdentify opportunities to improve HR processes, documentation, and systems to enhance efficiency and employee experienceSupport the implementation of process improvements, including updating templates, workflows, and guidance materialsParticipate in HR projects, audits, and continuous improvement initiativesQualificationsQualifications and Experience
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related disciplineCIPD Level 3 or working towards a CIPD qualification (desirable)Previous administrative, placement, or internship experience is beneficial but not essentialPersonal Attributes
