exceed calendar days after the date of graduation This temporary practice privilege automatically ceases upon notification that the graduate nurse has failed the licensure examination or once the calendar days after the date of graduation has past and required licensing is still pendingUnder the direction and general supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse the Graduate Nurse utilizes evidence based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act policies and procedures of the hospital The Graduate Nurse participates in developing a plan of care which includes standards of practice to meet the physical emotional spiritual cultural and educational needs of the patient and familyJob ResponsibilitiesProvides nursing care under the direct observation of a licensed registered nurse and in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to provide a plan of care for patients according to their physical emotional spiritual cultural and educational needs of the patient and familyProvides holistic patient centered careUtilizes evidence based practices in accordance with the hospitals policies and procedures to provide safe quality care and customer serviceIncorporates the art advocacy science and ethics in nursing effectively in their daily practiceEvaluates and appropriately revises the plan of care according to the patient and family needs on a continual basisLearns to identify and reliably documents problems and expected outcomes based on a plan of care for complex multi varianced population of patientsMaintains confidentiality of all patient informationAssumes responsibility for self improvement in collaboration with the leadership team by identifying communicating and seeking resources or instructionvalidation to meet own learning needs and is self directed in maintaining currency of validationsEmbodies the HHC leadership behaviors and effectively utilizes the HHC operating modelEnrolls and actively participates in the
