Graduate Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Engineer

We have opportunities for Graduate I&C Engineers to join us in our Bulgaria Teams. We are currently recruiting for the following location\: Sofia office.

The Graduate I&C Engineer will work as part of multidiscipline team on a project, contributing to ensuring the quality and timely delivery of electrical deliverables.

As a graduate under the supervision and mentorship within our team, you will assist in the delivery of engineering services to Worley and our customers. You will perform a variety of assignments through the application of basic engineering theories, techniques, and practices. You will be trained in the utilization of relevant regulations, codes, standards, and industry standard practices for the control, development, and application of deliverables while gaining exposure to procedures and processes.

As a Graduate I&C Engineer you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, for example\:

 

Conceptual, Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) and Detailed Design projects in the New Energy, Conventional Energy, Chemicals, Fuels and Resources sectors. 

Debottlenecking, Expansion and Performance Improvements projects.

Design of plants using cutting edge technology bringing solutions to the problems the world faces today.

You’ll be

Performing I&C engineering services such as\: contributing to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions; assisting with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports. 

Participating in the delivery of I&C engineering services that meet Worley, its customers’, and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications. 

Gaining a deeper knowledge of the fundamental requirements of I&C engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.

Developing further knowledge of technical and practical I&C engineering skills. 

Developing skills in the I&C engineering specific software we use at Worley. 

Assisting in the selection of appropriate sensors, transmitters, control valves and other instrumentation components for specific applications.

Using Smart Instrumentation (SPI) software to generate C&I deliverables such as Instrument Index, I/O list, wiring and loop diagrams, lists and schedules as well as instrument data sheets and other instrumentation deliverables. 

Working closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical, process, mechanical, piping and safety engineers to integrate instrumentation and control systems with overall processes.

You’ll have

You will be in your final year of study of a bachelor’s or master’s level degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation & Control (or equivalent) or have graduated within the past 3 years. 

Fluency in both written and verbal English. 

Experience in using AutoCAD (either at university, during a placement, or in your own time) and Ms Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) is preferred.
