The PositionWe are seeking talented Graduate Engineers to join our field services team in Christchurch and develop essential expertise in instrument and product troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and maintenance procedures. This role is designed to provide foundational experience while working directly with experienced engineers who will guide and mentor you throughout your journey.
As a Gradute Engineer, you will:
Develop hands-on technical skills by tackling real-world challenges in diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
Assist in providing installation and commissioning services to our customers.
Receive ongoing training and education on our innovative product portfolio and manufacturer updates.
Contribute to after-sales service activities, ensuring customer satisfaction through professional support.
Work within our SOPs and policies, gaining experience with quality and safety standards.

After-Sales Support Responsibilities
Provide high-quality after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and strong relationships.
Perform efficient instrument troubleshooting and preventive maintenance according to RDK specifications.
Adhere to SLA-defined response times for phone and onsite support, while keeping leadership informed of any product issues.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
Promote and comply with safety, health, and environmental policies to ensure workplace wellbeing.
Use risk assessment tools to coordinate work practices in a safe manner.
Demonstrate care for personal and team safety by adhering to and promoting HSE standards.
Administrative Responsibilities
Organize and manage spare parts inventory, returning unused parts as needed to prevent excess stock.
Accurately complete service documentation and expense/travel tasks within specified timelines.
Follow company policies and service contract requirements for all service activities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives for service processes.
Be willing to travel within New Zealand, work overtime as required, and take on additional responsibilities.

You have:
Educational Background: Hold a tertiary qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical) or Science; EAS registration (or ability to obtain one) is desirable.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using diagnostic tools like multi-meters and general computing/software packages; understanding of diagnostic/research labs is advantageous.
Problem-Solving Skill: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail and curiosity for continuous improvement.
Customer-Centric Approach: Foster collaborative, customer-focused relationships and demonstrate genuine interest in customer needs and satisfaction.
Teamwork & Leadership: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in building productive relationships and influencing stakeholders.
