As our energy team continues to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join us and begin your career in the energy industry. This is a chance to work on impactful Grid Interconnection Studies and gain hands-on experience across Islanded Systems, diverse power system studies (such as Battery Energy Storage Systems and Onshore Transmission), and grow toward future opportunities in Owner’s Engineer (OE) roles.

Support projects from early feasibility through to concept and detailed design, contributing to the integration of solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems.Assist with cable rating studies using industry tools such as CYMCAP (training provided).Learn to apply Australian Standards, National Electricity Rules (NER), and network service provider (NSP) guidelines to ensure the safe and compliant design of electrical infrastructure.Work alongside senior engineers to conduct grid connection and planning studies for renewable energy, storage, hybrid systems, and industrial loads.Contribute to technical reports and presentations, with opportunities to be involved in site inspections and stakeholder meetings.Be part of a team committed to sustainability, the energy transition, and delivering major renewable energy projects across Australia and beyond.This role is ideal for someone passionate about clean energy and eager to build a strong foundation in power systems engineering with mentorship and support from an experienced team.
QualificationsWho we’re looking for:
Final year students or recent graduates with a degree in Electrical Engineering.An understanding of renewable energy technologies and their role in the power system.Strong grasp of engineering principles and a desire to apply them in real-world scenarios.Enthusiasm to learn, contribute to technical work, and collaborate in a team environment.Good communication skills and attention to detail, especially in writing and reviewing reports and documentation.You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.You must be able to commence work by February 2026.
