What you will take on
As part of our structured Graduate Programme, you’ll:
Produce regular reports and carry out ad hoc analysis to identify trends, generate insights, and propose innovative solutions
Perform in-depth analysis to identify risks and opportunities within existing processes and decisioning strategies
Work with multiple data sources using Microsoft Databricks to inform and enhance credit risk strategies
Collaborate with teams across the business—including contact centre, marketing, customer experience, and technology—to implement portfolio strategies
Develop expertise in credit risk, balancing commercial objectives with regulatory requirements
Present insights and strategic recommendations using data visualisations tools like PowerBi to stakeholders, influencing decision-making
What you will bring
The Credit & Risk team run a business that generates >£180m profit annually. We’re seeking talented graduates who are motivated by high-impact decision making and are commercially driven.
The ideal candidate will have:
A predicted or achieved 2:1 degree (or above) in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related/STEM discipline
Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel and ideally, experience with SQL/Python or similar tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
A proactive, driven attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Confidence in presenting insights and influencing decisions
A genuine desire to learn, develop, and build a long-term career in Credit & Risk
