Job SummaryIron Mountain is seeking a strategic and experienced Government Key Account Manager to join our Data Center team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading engagement with public sector and government clients, driving revenue growth, and navigating complex procurement processes to position our services as a trusted partner for digital transformation.
What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
Responsibility 1: Lead the end-to-end Request for Proposal (RFP) and tender processes—including bid management, compliance, and pricing—to achieve annual sales quotas across colocation, cloud, and managed hosting solutions.
Responsibility 2: Collaborate with senior bureaucrats, Information Technology (IT) decision-makers, and Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) stakeholders to build long-term relationships and influence customer requirements.
Responsibility 3: Ensure full compliance with government procurement norms, regulatory requirements, and security standards in partnership with Legal, Finance, and Delivery teams.
What You’ll BringThe ideal candidate will have:
10–18 years of experience in Government Account Management or Enterprise Sales, specifically within the Data Center, Cloud, or Information Technology (IT) services domain.
Strong knowledge of the government technology (GovTech) ecosystem, procurement policies, and empanelment processes.
Proven ability in winning large-scale government tenders and managing long-cycle deals through consultative selling and stakeholder management.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Post Graduate degree in Business or Technology.
