Collaborate with dynamic, cross-functional and international teams

As a Government Relations Officer, your job duties include staying current on existing and proposed legislation in UAE, building good relations with relevant government officials, and updating management on relevant laws and regulations.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

·        Handling all government-related processes in compliance with local regulations, including visa and labour procedures.

·        Facilitating meetings with government officials and represent the organization in all regulatory matters.

·        Processing and renewal of various licenses, permits and other legal documents required by the government.

·        Being Well versed with the continually changing labor laws, localization requirements, vehicle registrations, social security clearance and other government related policies and procedures ​

·        Ensuring all visas, passes and labor permits are up to date and arrange for timely renewals.

.        Effectively communicate with government entities and internal stakeholders on all relevant matters

.        Ensuring & supporting continuous process improvements

​To be successful in this role you will:

·         Have a Bachelor's degree or diploma from an accredited university or college is preferred.

·         Have 3+ years of experience in a Government Relations role in UAE

·         Should have relevant experience working with government departments and handling visa and immigration processes. 

·         Display excellent communication skills with fluency in written & spoken English & Arabic

·         Ability to multi-task effectively and balance priorities in an ever changing, fast-moving, time-sensitive environment

·         Be able to anticipate needs and make judgement calls within your area of expertise and responsibility

·         Display a high value for integrity, kindness and show a sense of humor

·         Be a proactive, motivated self-starter, maintaining discipline and focus in managing long term initiatives without close supervision
