Government Property Management Specialist II

Seeking a Gov Property Mgmt Specialist II responsible for maintaining auditable records of government-owned property and ensuring compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and FAR/DFARS regulations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent with 6 years relevant experience; or Associate’s degree with 4 years; or Bachelor’s degree with 2 years

Solid working knowledge of FAR 52.245-1 and FAR Part 45; DFARS Part 245

Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases (Word, Excel, ERP systems, Access)

Preferred Skills

National Property Management Association (NPMA) membership

Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) certification

Experience in a defense contracting environment

Responsibilities

Maintain auditable records for all government-owned property in accordance with FAR/DFARS and contractual requirements

Ensure compliance with company policies and government property regulations across the property lifecycle

Prepare and submit internal and external reports on government property

Coordinate disposition of excess government material with appropriate Plant Clearance Officers and stakeholders

Support inventories, audits, and self-assessments; reconcile discrepancies and document corrective actions

Create and maintain property records within ERP/property systems (receiving, tagging, movement, transfer, utilization, maintenance, storage, and closeout)

Generate and process required forms, logs, and change documents for acquisitions, transfers, and disposals



Pay Details: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour
